Jennifer and Chris’ wedding was beautiful but it’s was also a lot of fun to shoot because they had such great energy together. Jennifer’s smile alone is infectious. I literally couldn’t look at her smiling face with out smiling. So, as you can see I pretty much smiled through the entire event!

I was thrilled to find out I had placed in the Photo District News: Top Knots Contest (the new school of wedding photography). I placed in candids and in portraits. They only award a first place in each category, but I am pleased to simply be included among the rest of the winners! I was also excited that two of my holga images won.

Nicole and Will got married on a perfectly pleasant February evening in Austin, Texas. The ceremony was at University Christian Church on campus and the reception was a short walk over to the new AT&T Conference Center, also on campus. DJ Manny was there to keep folks on the dance floor!!
It’s going to be a glorious weekend in Austin, TX. I hope everyone gets out and enjoys it. The heat will be here soon enough!

This is what someone once said about Ladyflash. And rightfully so! I’ve worked with Ashley Chiles, owner and the creative mind of Ladyflash for….six years? Seven? I’ve lost count. Ashley and her team create lovely films of weddings. I was thrilled to see her newly designed site with so many fun examples of the weddings and other events she has shot. This is my bride Nicole’s little brother. I love this photo of him because he looks like kind of tough – in charge, if you will. He also walked Nicole down the aisle, which was adorable. You’ll see these photos soon!
